Following the retirement of President Simon Barnard at the recent SCA (Qld) AGM, we are very excited to announce that the Board has elected James Nickless to the role of President.
James is our General Counsel here at MaxSoft and has been a driving the agenda for change in the strata industry for many years.
James has served on the SCA (Qld) Legislation Committee for six years, has been a Director on the board since 2016, and was elected Vice President in 2017. He is passionate about advancing the strata industry and regularly presents at conferences and seminars on various aspects of Strata Law and professional development to clients, industry groups and Universities.
James plans to build upon SCA (Qld)'s strong reputation for advocacy and will continue to drive for legislative change. He would also like to see greater engagement and collaboration from the entire property sector, of which strata makes up a significant part.
